Jeugdzorg Gelderland Puts Its Trust in Tintri

Jeugdzorg Gelderland, a child protection and juvenile rehabilitation agency in the Netherlands, was struggling with slow, aging HP storage that made its VMware vSphere environment difficult to manage and upgrade. The team supported resource-intensive workloads like Microsoft Exchange and needed a faster, simpler storage platform. Tintri, working with partner Wcare and its VMstore T820 system, was chosen to improve performance and reduce complexity.

Tintri implemented the VMstore T820 and Tintri Global Center, migrating all Exchange and specialty applications to the new platform. The result was faster storage, easier VMware vSphere upgrades, and a simpler migration to a new data center. Jeugdzorg Gelderland also eliminated three weeks of IT management time per year, reduced power and space usage, and lowered operating costs through better visibility into its storage environment.
