InfoCert Moves to Tintri for Higher Performance and Simpler Storage Management

InfoCert, Italy’s first digital certification authority, needed a storage platform that could keep up with demanding digital document and certificate services while reducing the operational burden of managing aging NAS systems. Its existing arrays struggled during heavy read/write activity and data deduplication, creating performance bottlenecks for applications such as MS Exchange, Oracle, and VMware-based workloads.

InfoCert chose Tintri VMstore™ T540 after a proof of concept confirmed stronger performance and simpler administration. With Tintri, InfoCert cut storage management from 10 hours per week to 8–10 hours per month, reduced VM cloning time from 30 minutes to under 1 minute, and eliminated the need for specialized storage training. Tintri also helped reduce OPEX and allowed upgrades without service interruptions.
