A Tintri Case Study
CT4, an Australian IT solutions provider offering desktop-as-a-service and managed cloud services, needed a way to price storage predictably for its DaaS offerings and improve visibility at the VM level. Using Tintri storage, CT4 was also looking to simplify deployment and better support its growing base of more than 10,000 end users across 150 desktop-as-a-service customers.
Tintri implemented its VMstore T620 as the primary storage platform, enabling CT4 to install and configure storage in about 15 minutes instead of two days and to live-migrate workloads in one hour during a hardware failure. With Tintri, CT4 eliminated contention issues, improved application availability, met SLAs more effectively, and established static storage pricing that reduced customer costs and improved its profit margins.
