The City of Lewiston, Idaho, was struggling with severe storage latency that was affecting key ERP and engineering applications in its VMware vSphere environment. Its small IT team needed a solution that could replace aging Dell EqualLogic and EMC storage while improving performance, simplifying administration, and supporting citywide services like Microsoft SQL, Munis ERP, file shares, and AutoCAD.
