A Tintri Case Study
Central Washington Hospital, a 24x7 health care provider in Wenatchee, WA, was struggling with poor storage performance that affected critical applications like nurse call, cardiology, surgery, and other hospital systems. Its existing iSCSI SAN also made software upgrades difficult and disruptive, and it could not support a planned VDI rollout. The hospital needed a faster, easier-to-manage storage platform, so it evaluated Tintri and its VMstore solution.
Tintri implemented two VMstore T540 storage systems to support more than 150 server VMs. The result was reliable, fast performance with no end-user complaints, simpler VM-level troubleshooting, and non-disruptive upgrades with no downtime. Tintri also left enough headroom for future growth, including the ability to add VDI workloads, while improving application usability and productivity.
