Avnet Technology Solutions Establishes Strong Tintri Storage Partnership

Avnet Technology Solutions, a leading Australian IT service provider and global distributor, was looking for a better storage platform to support its expanding hosted cloud, analytics, security, and networking services. After evaluating Tintri VMstore systems, Avnet Technology Solutions saw an opportunity to improve both its distribution portfolio and its internal cloud hosting operations.

Tintri implemented VM-aware VMstore storage and Tintri Global Center for Avnet Technology Solutions, enabling VM-level visibility, simpler management, and three tiers of storage for customers. Avnet Technology Solutions now manages about half as much time on storage administration, has deployed over 800 virtual hosts across three Tintri units, and can more quickly troubleshoot performance issues while offering more flexible, cost-controlled storage services.
