Kivra, Sweden’s digital mailbox for handling mail, signing documents, and paying bills, needed a simpler way to process millions of invoice payments while reducing operational overhead and user friction. Working with Tink, Kivra looked for a PSD2-based payment solution that would let users pay directly from their bank account inside the Kivra app, without extra fees or delays.

Tink implemented Payment Initiation to create a fully integrated in-app payment flow, allowing users to select their bank account and approve payments in just a few clicks. The result was a faster experience with an average 83% end-to-end success rate, rising to 86% for returning users, payments completed in under 45 seconds, and more than 3 million payments processed per month.
