SBAB, a Swedish mortgage provider with 270,000 mortgage customers, wanted to introduce more people to its services and help consumers secure a better mortgage deal in minutes. To address this challenge SBAB worked with Tink, using Tink’s account aggregation to power an easy “Interest Rate Match” that lets consumers compare and challenge their mortgage rates quickly.

Tink’s account aggregation powered a mobile flow that attracted 50,000 consumers in the first year; 8 out of 10 consumers got a better interest rate (as presented). The streamlined identification and few‑click loan transfer converted many users—example results showed potential savings of 7,900 kr/year—driving more business to SBAB while helping customers save money.
