ABN AMRO wanted a better way to help customers understand where their money went and manage their spending more effectively. After finding that half of the customers they surveyed were asking for improved money-management tools, the bank decided to build a personal finance management app and partnered with Tink for support.

With Tink’s help, ABN AMRO launched the Grip app and had a first prototype ready within 90 days. The app became a major success, with 670,000 customers using Grip to manage their finances, making it the #1 personal finance app in the Netherlands.
