COBUS Systems, a long-established IT service provider in Germany, needed a better way to manage a wide mix of IT and non-IT assets. Its previous Excel-based workflows caused incomplete records, limited visibility, and extra manual effort, especially when employees were absent or priorities changed. The company was already using Lansweeper for IT discovery and asset management and was looking for a more complete inventory management solution.

Timly implemented a central inventory management system integrated with Lansweeper via API, allowing network assets to be detected automatically and synchronized into Timly for a single up-to-date overview. COBUS Systems also uses Timly for digital signatures, deadline management, ticketing, and asset assignment to employees and locations, which has reduced administrative work, improved accuracy, and created audit-proof processes. The company has already migrated around 1,000 assets and ordered 4,000 barcode labels to standardize and track its broader asset base, while also strengthening its service offering for customers.
