Stadtwerke Hechingen, the municipal utility serving about 19,150 residents in Baden-Württemberg, needed a better way to centrally manage employee qualifications, training records, and compliance documents while also keeping track of equipment, tools, vehicles, and other assets across its operations yard. Its previous systems were fragmented and too time-consuming, making both personnel administration and asset management inefficient.
To solve this, Stadtwerke Hechingen implemented Timly’s cloud-based platform in 2020 to manage digital personnel files, mobile access to information, and a ticketing system for maintenance and repair requests. With Timly, the utility gained a centralized overview of qualifications and certifications, improved compliance readiness, and more structured management of roughly 1,000 inventoried items, reducing administrative overhead and speeding up tracking and workflows.
