Sakura, a cancer research laboratory equipment maker, needed a more uniform and validated way to process data across its regional business units as it prepared to transition to a new ERP environment. To support this shift, Sakura worked with TimeXtender and E-mergo to build a data warehouse that could consolidate data from multiple administrations and systems, including Exact, Oracle, and Japan’s ERP.

TimeXtender brought Sakura’s data and business logic together into a single source of truth, while keeping existing Qlik Sense dashboards intact as the company moved from Exact to Oracle. The result was a more transparent, robust data platform with more reliable reporting, better insight into processes and department-level logic, and the flexibility to switch data sources without changing front-end dashboards.
