Supporting the investment philosophy at Formue with a rich data estate

Formue, a Nordic wealth management firm with 350+ employees, needed a modern way to combine data and deliver self-service reporting for advisors and clients as it expanded across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Using TimeXtender, along with Snowflake and Qlik Sense, Formue aimed to replace script-heavy data preparation with a faster, more automated data estate that could support its growing reporting needs.

TimeXtender helped Formue redesign and reimplement its SQL Server-based data warehouse, launch a Qlik Sense dashboard for 140 advisors, and later transition from one CRM to Salesforce without disrupting reporting. The vendor also enabled rapid expansion of the reporting platform to include external and ESG data, with tasks that once took a full day now taking about 5 minutes; the result was a leading digital reporting platform that won Aite-Novarica’s 2022 Digital Initiative of the Year award in Europe.
