O’Brien, founded in 1924 and now Australia’s largest replacement glass specialist (part of the Belron group), provides 24/7 vehicle, home and commercial glazing and works closely with insurers. Faced with a 25+-year-old Unix-based ERP that could no longer be repaired, the company needed to replace its core systems with Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM while finding a cost-effective BI solution to reduce data-quality issues, bring reporting in-house and preserve historical data.
O’Brien implemented TimeXtender’s Discovery Hub® alongside Dynamics AX and CRM, with on-site support and training to migrate legacy data and streamline reporting. The result was a single “version of the truth” across BI front ends, faster development and fixes (changes that once took a week now take about 30 minutes), greater independence from external contractors, continuity of historical data and a scalable, future-proof data platform.
