PetrolValves, an Italian industrial manufacturer of valves and actuators, faced challenges in integrating data from newly acquired companies and modernizing its outdated data systems. Its existing setup, which used QlikView apps running on an AS/400 system, was costly, manual, and too slow to provide timely insights. The vendor, TimeXtender, was selected as part of a solution proposed by system integrator SDG Group to build a new data foundation during a migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 on Azure.
