PetrolValves is an Italian industrial manufacturer of valves and actuators (founded 1956, 500+ employees) that needed to modernize its data estate while integrating newly acquired companies and migrating its ERP from IBM AS/400 to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Its legacy landscape—many QlikView apps on top of AS/400 with proprietary staging—created high maintenance costs, long time-to-insight and difficulty delivering trusted, company-wide real-time analysis.
