Pathe, the largest cinema chain in the Netherlands, wanted better insight into ticket sales, concessions, pre-sales, and customer behavior while also managing a difficult transition from its old Dolphin cash register system to the new Vista system. To support this data strategy, Pathe worked with E-mergo and used the TimeXtender Data Integration platform together with Qlik Sense to build a central data warehouse without disrupting the cinemagoer experience.

TimeXtender, implemented by E-mergo, unified data from both cash register systems, enabled clear BI dashboards, and delivered near-real-time data for Pathe’s All Stars loyalty app. The solution let Pathe’s data team maintain and expand the platform themselves, improved reporting and marketing insights, and ensured loyalty points could be awarded within minutes, with the system designed to handle around 100,000 data lines per hour under normal operating conditions.
