Municipality of Weert boosts effectivity with TimeXtender and Power BI

The Municipality of Weert needed a way to centrally organize rapidly growing data and turn it into reliable management information for better decision-making. To support its digital transition goals, the municipality turned to TimeXtender and Power BI to help improve data quality, data management, and reporting across departments.

TimeXtender, implemented by FourPoints, was used to build a central data lake and data warehouse with Power BI dashboards on top, rolled out in two stages over six months. The result was automated information provision, better traceability and GDPR compliance, and a more data-driven organization; the municipality also noted that without this future-proof setup, it would likely have needed around 10 FTE to handle data issues in the future.
