Case Study: Movares achieves one version of the truth with TimeXtender

Movares has more control over projects thanks to a combination of TimeXtender, Azure and Power BI

Movares, a consultancy and engineering firm working on complex mobility, infrastructure, and climate adaptation projects, struggled to get a clear at-a-glance view of financial project results in AFAS. With project leaders managing multiple jobs at once, the company needed better insight and a way to eliminate conflicting Excel-based “versions of the truth.” TimeXtender helped Movares address this need as part of a solution delivered by E-mergo, alongside Azure and Power BI.

E-mergo implemented a data warehouse and dashboarding setup using TimeXtender, Azure, and Power BI to create a single source of truth and highly visual project dashboards. The result was immediate, colour-coded reporting that gave project leaders a fast overview of status and helped them spot issues quickly; Movares said the dashboards were well received, and TimeXtender enabled scalable reporting from one trusted data model to many dashboards and future data sources.
