Marel, the multinational food processing company, needed to improve data quality, productivity, innovation, and customer service while dealing with conflicting stakeholder needs and slow, manual data handling across up to 15 systems. To address these challenges, Marel turned to TimeXtender’s data quality management platform, which it already had in a limited license, as a way to create a single source of truth and better connect its data flows.

TimeXtender helped Marel move away from Excel and legacy processes, quickly putting more than 200 critical data checks in place, including cross-system and within-system validations. The impact included stronger data governance, clearer accountability through data stewards and local master data leads, faster access to reliable information, and a more data-driven culture across the company.
