Care Group Charim Builds a Reliable Data Foundation with TimeXtender®

Zorggroep Charim is a regional healthcare provider with 15 locations, about 1,600 employees and 1,300 volunteers serving over 1,000 clients. The organisation struggled with fragmented, sensitive data across multiple systems (financial, HR, scheduling and a dynamic care registration system) and needed a secure, GDPR-compliant way to combine sources, centralise access control and avoid relying on external consultants for every new report or analysis.

Working with partner ilionx, Charim implemented the TimeXtender data management platform (linked to Microsoft Power BI) in days to ingest systems such as Nedap Healthcare, Exact and AFAS. The platform proved user-friendly enough for a single BI employee to build and maintain the data warehouse and dashboards, delivering consistent, up-to-date data, faster, customizable reporting, controlled access rights and greater self-reliance — with further potential to extend analytics into clinical processes.
