Bolletje, the Dutch bakery company known for products like crispbread, breakfast crackers and gingerbread, needed a better way to manage reporting after its legacy and customised systems and a Microsoft Dynamics AX rollout disrupted its BI landscape. With a small IT team and growing demand for analytics, Bolletje turned to TimeXtender to simplify data management and support its reporting needs.

TimeXtender implemented an ODX/MDW-based data warehouse approach, consolidating data from Microsoft Dynamics AX, Excel and SharePoint into a central model for Power BI. The solution streamlined fact and dimension table creation, reduced routine work, and gave Bolletje a flexible, manageable data environment with clearer KPIs for supply chain, sales and finance, while also laying the groundwork for future production analytics such as OEE and the “Golden Batch.”
