Setting Interview Appointments at Career Fairs Puts TSU Ahead of the Curve

Texas Southern University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences needed a better way to manage interview signups for career fairs. Using Google Calendar had created security and control issues, with students overwriting one another’s appointments and no clear way to track changes. TimeTap was brought in as an online scheduling solution to replace the chaotic manual process.

With TimeTap, Traneshia Parker could control interview capacity, send students step-by-step signup instructions, receive confirmation emails, and use reports as check-in rosters for employers. The result was a much more organized career fair, strong feedback from employers, and about 45 students interviewed per hour on average. Texas Southern University also reported that TimeTap helped establish fairness and credibility with students while improving the overall event structure.
