The Combination of Functionality, Intuitive Operation, Competent Service, and Cost-Effectiveness Convinced Us

WWF Austria (WWF), a national section of the global nature conservation NGO with about 100 employees, needed to replace paper-based and Excel time/leave records with a secure, uniform digital system to reduce paper use, save HR and employee time, eliminate scattered data and strengthen data protection. After market research they selected TimeTac for employee time tracking, leave management and project time tracking, plus TimeTac’s onboarding service to map complex rules like overtime, active/passive travel time and automated absence workflows.

TimeTac implemented the solution in May 2020, onboarding WWF step-by-step and enabling web and mobile time entries, automatic break deduction, digital absence requests and approval, project time tracking, custom reminders and individually configured overtime and travel-time rules. The result: paper consumption for time and leave dropped to zero, employees gained transparency and saved time accessing hours and vacation balances, HR administrative workload was reduced and time data became quickly reportable; WWF reported most goals achieved following a TimeTac account review in 2021.
