Case Study: Greenpeace achieves transparent, location-independent time tracking and streamlined leave management with TimeTac

A TimeTac Case Study

Preview of the GreenPeace Case Study

Greenpeace has a transparent time tracking system for its international team

GreenPeace, an international environmental NGO with about 100 employees based in Austria and staff across eight countries, struggled with an Excel-based time tracking system that couldn’t record multiple breaks, task-level or project time, or provide cross-location leave visibility. The outdated process was time-consuming, reduced user adoption, and lacked the transparency and web-based, location-independent functionality they needed, so they chose TimeTac’s time tracking system.

TimeTac implemented Employee Time Tracking, Leave Management and Project Time Tracking with web, desktop and mobile clients, SSO and onboarding support, enabling flexible working-time models, real-time status overviews and simple leave requests/approvals. With TimeTac’s solution, GreenPeace eliminated piles of paperwork, reduced administrative effort, improved transparency and coordination across teams and locations, and gained better control of working-time balances and overtime, increasing employee acceptance of time tracking.
