Octave, an energy and environment company focused on turning energy data into actionable insights for commercial and industrial facilities, struggled to handle the high volume and velocity of time-series data from utility meters and IoT devices. Their traditional databases made real-time processing difficult and required a lot of manual intervention and custom scripting to keep data accurate and consistent.

To address this, Octave implemented Timescale’s fully managed PostgreSQL solution, Tiger Cloud, powered by TimescaleDB on AWS.
