Conserv empowers museums and archives to preserve cultural heritage through advanced environmental monitoring and real-time analytics

Conserv provides environmental monitoring solutions for museums, libraries, and archives, using IoT sensors to track temperature, humidity, and light to help protect cultural heritage. As its sensor network grew, Conserv struggled with data ingestion and query performance in its legacy system, slowing down insights and alerts needed to maintain safe conditions for artifacts.

To address this, Conserv adopted TimescaleDB from Timescale, a fully managed Postgres solution built for time-series data. With TimescaleDB, Conserv improved ingest rates and query speed, enabling real-time monitoring, faster response to environmental changes, and more reliable operations through features like continuous aggregates and automated data retention policies.
