Beaute Industrie, founded by Tamara Reid, is a peer community and resource hub for beauty therapists, managers, and salon owners that began as a 15-person Facebook group in 2016. It was created to fill a gap in the industry: a lack of practical, behind-the-scenes conversations about pricing, operations and career progression, and to combat harmful trends like deep-discount deal sites, unclear value-setting and frequent no-shows.

Tamara scaled the community with a podcast, in-person events and the Beautecademy subscription program, while promoting practical fixes such as online bookings and deposits and better client communication. The approach grew the network to over 5,000 members and 110 podcast episodes, fostered clearer pricing and service-value conversations, and provided ongoing coaching and resources to help businesses improve retention, reduce no-shows and professionalise their operations.
