The Ziedonis Museum sought to honor the late Latvian poet Imants Ziedonis by fulfilling his unfulfilled dream of becoming a gardener. The challenge was to create an immersive experience where Ziedonis could guide visitors through his garden, but with limited audio recordings available due to his passing in 2013. Tilde was engaged to develop a solution using advanced text-to-speech technology.

Tilde implemented an AI voice solution by meticulously processing over eight hours of archival audio to create a synthesised voice that captured the poet's unique phonetic nuances. The result was a self-guided garden tour where visitors hear Ziedonis' AI-generated voice providing commentary. The project was a success, earning the museum the Latvian Museum Association Annual Award in 2024 for its innovative blend of technology and cultural heritage.
