Latvian State Revenue Service boosts correct AI answers to over 50% with Tilde

The Latvian State Revenue Service (SRS) faced a challenge in efficiently answering customer tax inquiries, as its consultants spent a significant amount of time searching through complex legal documents. To improve workflow and accelerate response times, SRS partnered with vendor Tilde to test a generative AI solution.

Tilde developed a prototype for an enterprise knowledge management system called Vidis, which uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology. After refining its knowledge base and system prompts based on user testing, Vidis became an effective support tool for drafting response templates. The solution demonstrated significant progress, with over half of its generated answers being deemed correct, empowering SRS consultants to provide accurate responses faster.
