Konvy, an online cosmetics retailer in Thailand, wanted to attract new customers on TikTok while driving both app installs and sales to grow its user base. To do this, the company tested TikTok for Business’s Catalog Sales campaign objective to find the most effective approach for prospecting new customers.

TikTok for Business helped Konvy run two Catalog Sales campaigns using different creative templates: Custom Template and Dynamic Template. The Custom Template delivered 26% lower cost per install and a 2.3x higher click-through rate than the Dynamic Template, while the Dynamic Template produced a 26% higher install rate. These results gave Konvy clear guidance for optimizing future campaigns depending on whether its goal is cost efficiency or higher app installs.
