TikTok for Business worked with Lipton Ice Tea to help a 60-year-old brand stay relevant with Gen Z in Australia. The goal was to bring the “sunshine of the brand” to a younger audience, reach all 18–35-year-old Australians active on TikTok, and make Lipton Ice Tea the most talked about non-alcoholic beverage brand on the platform.
TikTok for Business supported a creator-led TikTok campaign built around a bespoke sunshine anthem, Spark Ads, and a mix of video-first and reach-focused delivery to maximize awareness and efficiency. The campaign also extended into digital out-of-home in Melbourne, and it delivered strong results: 100% reach among the target TikTok audience, nearly a 24% six-second view-through rate, a £1.93 CPM, and a reported 15% sales uplift in Australia during the two-week campaign.
