Racing ahead of the competition by driving brand awareness around two e-scooters in Vietnam

VinFast sought to build awareness for two e-scooters (Impes and Ludo) among Vietnamese students in a crowded EV market and partnered with TikTok for Business to reach a wide, engaged audience. The brand used TikTok for Business products including a Branded Hashtag Challenge and Branded Effect alongside Brand Takeover and In-Feed Ads to create an immersive, youth-focused campaign.

TikTok for Business launched the #Phieucungxechat challenge with a virtual test-drive Branded Effect, incentivized ad creative, Discover-page and Music-page placements, and a Brand Takeover to drive participation. Over the May 22–27 campaign the Brand Takeover delivered about 60 million impressions, the challenge generated 101,000 user videos and amassed 200 million views, significantly boosting VinFast’s visibility with its target student audience.
