Promoting the release of StudioCanal's latest film to a young German audience

TikTok for Business worked with StudioCanal to promote the German release of its film Dem Horizont so nah (Close to the Horizon). The challenge was to build awareness among Germany’s Gen Z audience ahead of the movie’s launch and drive interest in ticket sales.

TikTok for Business ran a TikTok In-Feed Ad featuring a preview of the film, an informal caption, and a call to action that linked users to nearby screening and ticket-purchase pages. The campaign generated more than 2 million impressions, a 4.37% engagement rate, a 1.63% click-through rate, and an average watch time per person of 5.26 seconds, exceeding benchmarks and showing TikTok’s ability to reach and engage young audiences.
