HUGO, the high-end men’s and women’s fashion brand, wanted to reach a Gen Z audience on TikTok and build both product appeal and brand awareness through engaging content. Working with TikTok for Business, the company used Branded Hashtag Challenge and Branded Mission to create a campaign that would connect with the community in a more interactive way.

TikTok for Business helped HUGO launch the #HowDoYouHUGO challenge in Germany, supported by creators, TopView, and In-Feed Ads, while Branded Mission enabled the brand to crowdsource and boost top-performing creator videos. The campaign generated 1.1 million+ video creations, a 21.2% lift in ad recall, a 7.4% lift in awareness, and a 17% increase in relevant video views.
