Kaufland, one of Germany’s largest hypermarket chains, aimed to boost brand perception among young German shoppers (Gen Z) and turned to TikTok for Business to reach that audience using TikTok In-Feed Ads and the platform’s official Creators.

TikTok for Business worked with creators Theo Carow and Levin and agency LIMITD to run two 20s In-Feed Ads under the “Wie kaufst du?” theme; shown May 14–16, 2020, the campaign delivered 2,246,234 video views, 2,172,121 impressions, a 0.57% CTR, about 51,000 likes/comments/shares, an average watch time of 4.55s, and gained 3,665 TikTok followers—surpassing benchmarks and creating a strong foundation for future organic content.
