Increasing awareness for smart’s all-electric car range with digital natives in Germany

smart, the all-electric urban mobility brand, wanted to raise awareness for its all-electric range among new audiences in Germany. To do this, smart partnered with TikTok for Business and leveraged TikTok’s Branded Hashtag Challenge and premium ad formats to reach digital-native, potential car buyers.

TikTok for Business ran the #AllElectricNow Branded Hashtag Challenge supported by TopView, One Day Max In-Feed and Brand Premium In-Feed ads and collaborated with German creators to drive user-generated transformation content. The campaign generated over 850 million video views, 199,000 user-created videos and more than 40 million Discover page impressions, exceeding benchmarks and significantly increasing awareness for smart’s electric lineup.
