Penningtons, Canada's leader in plus-size fashion, aimed to raise awareness for its new summer swimwear collection and reinforce its body‑positive brand message. To do this the brand partnered with TikTok for Business, using creator-led video campaigns and paid media amplification on TikTok to reach and engage a wider audience.

Working with TikTok for Business and Canadian creator Alicia Mccarvell, Penningtons produced authentic try-on videos paired with paid promotion; the campaign recorded a 6.28% video completion rate, a 28% view-through rate and a 1.55% engagement rate, and TikTok content drove 53% more comments, 18% more likes and 55% more views than on other platforms. The effort increased positive sentiment and brand perception, boosted overall engagement and swimwear sales, and expanded Penningtons' presence on TikTok.
