How Motel Rocks Boosting awareness and spiking sales while testing TikTok as a new channel in the marketing mix

TikTok for Business helped Motel Rocks, a vintage-inspired fashion brand, move beyond a traffic-and-conversion-only approach and toward a full-funnel TikTok strategy while keeping CPA low. The brand also wanted to compare the CPA of gifted creator UGC with TikTok’s full-funnel advertising approach to gain a competitive edge.

Using TikTok for Business, Motel Rocks added branding campaigns to its mix, running reach and Community Interaction campaigns alongside traffic and conversion campaigns with lowest cost bidding, custom audiences, and gifted creator content managed with agency Social Hit. Over July to November 2021, this approach reduced complete payment CPA by 77%, increased complete payments by 1186%, and increased investment by 434% compared with the prior five months of performance-only campaigns.
