How International Federation of Red Cross Raising awareness and understanding for people fleeing from conflict regions

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies worked with TikTok for Business to raise awareness and improve understanding of people fleeing conflict regions. The organization wanted to use TikTok to communicate its humanitarian work and build mass awareness around refugees and the support provided alongside the Turkish Red Crescent and the European Union.

TikTok for Business helped the IFRC and its agency SocialSocial launch the #PowerToBe campaign, the organization’s first multinational TikTok effort, using In-Feed Ads through TikTok Ads Manager to reach audiences in Germany, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Portugal, and Turkey. Featuring six Syrian refugees with unique talents, the campaign reached 26 million users, generated 121 million video views, and achieved a strong EUR 0.30 CPM.
