How HiLo Teen Driving awareness for a high calcium milk brand with a Branded Hashtag Challenge

HiLo Teen, a local high-calcium milk brand in Indonesia, wanted to boost awareness among a young, trend-driven audience during the pandemic. They worked with TikTok for Business and leveraged TikTok’s creative ad formats—notably a Branded Hashtag Challenge—to encourage song-and-dance participation and virality.

TikTok for Business helped HiLo Teen launch the #LompatSetinggiBintang Branded Hashtag Challenge using a custom Branded Effect and catchy tune, seeded by creators and supported with Brand Takeover, One Day Max In‑Feed Ads, banner placements and Discovery promotion. The campaign generated 1.73 million videos submitted, more than 2.82 billion video views, 290 million engagements and a 60,000-follower lift on HiLo Teen’s official TikTok page.
