Halodoc, an Indonesian health‑tech app offering teleconsultations, medication purchasing and other digital services, needed to reach people stuck at home during COVID‑19 lockdowns and convert them into qualified new users. Working with agency M&C Saatchi Performance and TikTok for Business, Halodoc ran Auction Ads using TikTok‑friendly creatives, refined targeting to exclude existing users, split objectives for Installs and Registrations, and employed Lookalike Audience and App Event Optimization. The campaign produced a 42% improvement in cost efficiency for app installs and registrations, an 18% increase in new users who booked doctor appointments, and a 24% lower customer acquisition cost versus other BAU channels.
