TikTok for Business helped Chupa Chups raise brand awareness among Italy’s digital natives during lockdown, when younger audiences were stuck inside for Halloween. The brand wanted to bring some fun to this audience and strengthen love for its “Forever Fun” promise, using TikTok to connect with users through a seasonal, attention-grabbing campaign.

TikTok for Business launched a Halloween-themed Branded Hashtag Challenge, #Chupalloween, supported by TopView Lite, In-Feed One Day Max, In-Feed Brand Premium Ads, and creator-led launch videos from four popular Italian creators. The campaign generated over 295 million video views in five days, 242,000 submissions from more than 98,000 creators, and a 12.6% engagement rate, while a brand lift study showed a 10% increase in brand awareness and a 57.6% increase in ad recall.
