A101 worked with TikTok for Business during Ramadan in Turkey to better understand the impact of digital and offline media on brand awareness, image perception, and sales-related KPIs. The retailer, already widely known in the market, wanted to identify how much incremental uplift TikTok advertising could deliver in a six-week cross-media campaign.

TikTok for Business helped A101 run a Branded Hashtag Challenge around #RamadanSofrasi, supported by TikTok creators and measured with Kantar in Turkey’s first cross-media study for the brand. The campaign delivered a 70% media uplift on “A101 is the biggest market chain in Turkey,” a 44% uplift on “A101 is the cheapest market chain in Turkey,” and a 7x ROI, with TikTok emerging as the most efficient channel for driving awareness and key image associations.
