Wisma Geylang Serai worked with TikTok for Business to keep Hari Raya celebrations alive during the COVID-19 lockdown, when social gatherings were restricted and the heritage hub needed a way to engage the community safely online. The challenge was to maintain festive outreach and community connection while moving its activities into a digital format, using TikTok as the channel for authentic, interactive experiences.
TikTok for Business supported the campaign with a #HariRayaSelamat Branded Hashtag Challenge, TikTok LIVE programming, TopView, and One Day Max In-Feeds Ads, helping Wisma Geylang Serai drive awareness, participation, and traffic to its landing page. The campaign generated 150,000 engagements, nearly 2,105 user-created videos, and about 3.7 million video views, showing strong community-led traction and measurable reach.
