Danone’s Actimel wanted to build mass awareness for its fermented milk drink, spark nostalgia among millennials, and keep the campaign brand-safe. To do this, the brand partnered with TikTok for Business, using creator-led advertising on TikTok to reach the right audience in a native, engaging way.
TikTok for Business worked with French creators to produce humorous flashback-style videos, then amplified them with Top Feed and In-Feed Ads using a video view objective, alongside IAS brand-safety verification. The campaign generated over 42 million impressions, a 42% 2-second completion rate, 98.9% verified brand-safe impressions, and business lift including a 30% sales increase, 9% demand uplift, 28.5% higher ad recall, and a 4.6% lift in familiarity.
