Ovomaltine worked with TikTok for Business to raise brand awareness for its Crunchy Cream spread among young adults in Germany. Although the brand is well known in Switzerland, it is still relatively new in the German market, so the challenge was to expand awareness and learn whether TikTok could become an effective part of the media mix.

TikTok for Business supported a test-and-learn campaign using TikTok Creative Exchange, TopView Ads, TikTok Pulse, and a multi-cell Brand Lift Study to compare remixed brand assets with native UGC-style creator content. The campaign delivered strong results, including 184% higher ad recall, a 141% increase in brand awareness, and 230% longer average video watch time, with UGC proving especially effective.
