Their initial TikTok Ads Manager campaigns were optimized for lower-funnel pixel events, which led to high costs per acquisition and limited the ability to scale.
TikTok for Business advised moving up-funnel in TikTok Ads Manager by optimizing for user registrations (leads) and testing Lowest Cost (No Bid) auto-bidding. This approach drove a roughly 100x increase in user registrations, produced VIP activations at about 15x lower cost per VIP member, and roughly doubled scale using the Lowest Cost bidding strategy.
