Lazada, one of Southeast Asia’s leading e-commerce platforms, aimed to attract new customers and expand its marketplace seller base during its ninth-anniversary campaign. To do this, Lazada partnered with TikTok for Business and used TikTok Ads Manager’s Lead Generation objective and Instant Form to capture and qualify prospective merchants directly within the app.

TikTok for Business deployed a series of fast-produced, TikTok-style videos and leveraged the platform’s content recommendation system to reach the right audience; the Instant Form made sign-ups simple and pre-filled basic details. The campaign reached millions and delivered strong results: 47% of users who submitted the Instant Form became real sellers within a week, leading Lazada to launch an always-on Lead Generation campaign in Thailand and plan further expansion.
