Gojek Vietnam, part of the Gojek mobility and food delivery platform, wanted to grow its app registrations among mobile-savvy users in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City while avoiding overlap with existing users. TikTok for Business helped address this challenge with App Event Optimization and Spark Ads to attract new, high-value app signups.

TikTok for Business used AEO to identify users most likely to complete the “Registration” event, combined with location targeting, exclusion of current app users, and Cost Cap bidding to keep acquisition efficient. Spark Ads amplified authentic creator content and humorous app-focused videos, resulting in a 50% lower cost per unique registration and a 27% reduction in cost per install, plus 2,696 new followers.
